I don't know where you are planning on going in South Carolina but Greenville has one great place that I love called Henry's smokehouse on Wade Hampton, near downtown Greenville. In Augusta Georgia there is a semi-famous one called Sconyers. Mr. Sconyer catered a meal for President Carter back in the day. Anyway, good stuff; I have officially 'subscribed' to the blog.
